To shift the paradigm, to create a new experiential reality, we must first shift our attitudes, beliefs and opinions. We must shift our awareness into a state of being that reflects that which we desire. Blind acceptance of what is presented while maintaining a victim mindset never got anyone anywhere, except enslaved cognitively.
