The ego remains dominant when in actuality, it is but a tiny aspect of what we all truly are. We are vastly more than what we have believed ourselves to be, and of course, the ego aspect of consciousness is propped up in this world; it is exalted as the totality when it is simply a diminutive part, a small aspect of the higher self.
